How does Bama Lifestyle Services work?

Clients reserve a day and time and prioritize the tasks they would like completed during that appointment. We focus on accomplishing as much as possible within the our visit.

How do I book an appointment?

Appointments can be requested through email, text message, or phone call.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking as early as possible to ensure availability, although short-notice appointments may be accommodated when scheduling permits.

What if I need additional time?

Additional time can be scheduled for another day and time and can be done during our visit.

What if something needs to be purchased in order to complete a task or chore?

Anything that needs to be purchased will be communicated with you first then purchased either by you or us. If we make the purchase, a receipt will be supplied for reimbursement. Any cost of items purchased are in addition to labor/time charges.

What types of services do you provide?

We provide Handyman Services, Senior Support Services, Cleaning Services, and Concierge Services designed to help make daily life more manageable and less stressful.

Can I combine different services during the same appointment?

Absolutely. Many clients use a single appointment for a combination of errands, household projects, organization, administrative assistance, and other support tasks.

Do I have to choose only one service category?

No. Our service categories simply help describe the types of support we offer. Most appointments involve a mix of services tailored to the client's needs.

Do you offer recurring services?

Yes. Weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and customized recurring schedules may be available.

Handyman Services

HANDYMAN SERVICES

What household tasks can you help with?

Examples include (this is not an all-inclusive list):

General home maintenance & repairs
Ceiling fan & light fixture replacement
Hanging pictures, shelves, artwork & more
Pressure washing
General yard & garden work
Household safety installs like grab bars, etc.
Furniture assembly
Cabinet pulls & doorknob installation
Move-in and home setup assistance

Do you provide house cleaning services?

We provide an array of household cleaning and upkeep but are not a full-service residential cleaning company. Please ask us about any specific task or chore you need completed and we will be happy to let you know if we are able to accommodate you.

Do you provide lawn care services?

We assist with general outdoor tasks, garden maintenance, seasonal prep, and yard upkeep, but we do not provide full-service landscaping or lawn maintenance. Please ask us about any specific task or chore you need completed and we will be happy to let you know if we are able to accommodate you.

Senior Support Services

SENIOR SUPPORT SERVICES

Do you provide medical care?

No. Bama Lifestyle Services provides non-medical household and lifestyle support only.

Can you help seniors remain independent at home?

Yes. Our services are designed to help seniors maintain independence through (this is not an all-inclusive list):

Household support
Home safety improvements
Errands
Organization
Other non-medical services.

Can family members arrange services for aging parents?

Absolutely. Many adult children coordinate services on behalf of their parents.

Do you install grab bars and other safety items?

Yes. We can assist with many basic home safety improvements including grab bars, accessibility accessories, improved lighting solutions, and reducing common trip hazards. Please ask us about any specific task or chore you need completed and we will be happy to let you know if we are able to accommodate you.

Are you licensed for major remodeling projects?

No, we do not complete large scale remodeling or construction therefore we are not licensed for that type of work. We focus on minor installations and home safety improvements, which do not require licensing.

Cleaning Services

CLEANING SERVICES

What type of cleaning services do you provide?

We provide detailed interior home cleaning tailored to the needs of each client. Services include (this is not an all-inclusive list):

Dusting & vacuuming
Cleaning windows & blinds
Cleaning baseboards & trim
Cleaning light fixtures & ceiling fans
Cleaning fireplaces, walls, doors, and other areas that may need additional attention.

We can also focus on specific rooms or areas rather than requiring a whole-house cleaning.

Can I combine cleaning with other services during the same visit?

Yes. Cleaning can be combined with other services such as small household projects, home maintenance, errands, or other tasks that fall within our capabilities. This allows you to accomplish more during a single visit instead of scheduling multiple companies.

Do I need to provide cleaning supplies?

Not necessarily. We can discuss the supplies and equipment needed for your particular cleaning needs when scheduling your service. If you have preferred products or specific cleaning instructions, you are welcome to provide them.

Do you provide recurring cleaning services?

Our services can be scheduled according to your needs. Whether you need a one-time detailed cleaning or periodic assistance with keeping your home maintained, we can discuss your needs and determine an approach that works for you.

Concierge Services

CONCIERGE SERVICES

What types of errands can you help with?

Grocery pickup
Prescription pickup
Store returns
Donation drop-offs
Post office visits
Personal shopping

Can you shop on my behalf?

Yes. Clients may provide a shopping list and payment method, and we can complete many shopping-related errands.

Can you pick up prescriptions?

Yes, provided all legal and pharmacy requirements are met.

What services do you NOT provide?

For safety, licensing, and liability reasons, we do not provide:

Medical care
Nursing services
Personal hygiene assistance
Legal services
Financial advising
Licensed trade work requiring specialized licensing
Major remodeling
Roofing

Hazardous material removal
Any illegal activities
Any task and/or chore that puts people or property in danger or at risk of being injured in any way
